CYBER EMPOWERMENT CONTEST FOR YOUTH


This competition is about cyber awareness and it targets the university students at the first place. The main concept of this competition is to suggest many realistic issues for the competitors to select one of it. After that the competitor has to analyze the issue and suggest solutions for it. The winner is the owner of the best solution in his category.

Competition objectives

Stage 1:
Competing students should submit their proposed solutions using video of maximum 10 minutes and a short descriptive document containing the following headlines.

Stage 2:

Students who whose projects will be shortlisted for final presentation will be asked to present their idea in front Judges Panel in an event. Where Questions and Answers will also be asked at the end of presentation.

Competition work plan


1. The competitor selects one issues to analyze and find solutions for it.

2. The competitor must provide his solution as a research paper or a field study.

3. The student should record a video about the summary of his research, then upload it with a soft copy of the research.

4. After the revision and evaluation of the participations by the judgment committee, the competitor will be contacted to discuss his plan.

5. Winning participations will be adopted and developed to benefit the widest range of society members.

Approval & Copyrights.
  • All submitted projects must be student self-created and must not infringe copyright or other rights of any third party.
  • The student must obtain written approval from anyone who appears in the video if his appearance is clear and direct. Once the project is published, the organizer will bear no responsibility for any claim or complaint from any person who was filmed without written permission. The student will be fully responsible for this accountability.
  • Projects must be free of narration, music, trademarks, copyrights, patents, photos or works of art unless the rights to use them are obtained.
  • If you wish to use any material available online where copyright is not mentioned, these materials should be attributed to their owners during the presentation of the projects.

  • The student bears all production costs.
  • Khalifa Empowerment program – Aqdar reserves the right to amend the above rules and regulations without prior notification.
  • By uploading your project on the competition website, you agree to all terms and conditions of the competition.
  • The competition organizer will bear no responsibility from any third-party for non-compliance with the competition rules and regulations.
  • All projects and concepts become the property of the Khalifa Program for Empowerment - Aqdar - and has the right to use or post it on social media in order to exploit the outstanding practices in empowering members of society.
  • All participations must contain Aqdar’s logo in the introduction.
